Peixe’s recent achievement in 2004 is the highest belt of capoeira, the black belt, from the founders of Capoeira Brasil and guests (Master Acordeon, Master Toni Vargas, Master Lobão, Master Peixinho, Master Gato, Master Hulk, Master Rã, Master Ramos, Master Cabeça, MAster Indio, Master Girino, Master Naval, Master Mão Branca, Master Paulão and Master Boneco).

André Cerutti was given his capoeira nickname by his Mestre Boneco at his first grading. The name Peixe Ensaboado means ‘slippery fish’.

Peixe was born in Rio de Janeiro, 25 January 1969, Brazil and began his training with Mestre Boneco in 1985. Prior to this he had trained in a number of martial arts, but found Capoeira captured his attention after watching a display by Mestre Boneco.

Since 1992, after joining his family in Australia Peixe hoped to train Australians in the same way as he was trained in Brazil. From small beginnings, hundred of people have been introduced through Peixe. some of these have gone on to quality as instructors and teachers and continued to work with Peixe under the banner of Group Capoeira Brasil.

Peixe has contributed much to the standard of Capoeira in Australia, has brought many of the great masters to his group in Australia and given many demonstrations, festival performances, workshops and television apperances.

Mestre Peixe is a 100% Capoeira in every thing he does, with his high influence and knowledge he promotes every year events with numbers between 5 and 15 international special guests teaching workshops and supporting him with the grading.
Recently, Mestre Peixe and his team opened the first Capoeira College in the world is accredit by the Department of Education in Australia;  where the students can obtain certificates through sport and couching  program specifically in Martial Arts – Capoeira.
